Subject: great customer service
Hi I just
wanted to say what great customer
service I received at not one but two
tack stores located in BC But very far
removed from each other. I am from
Vancouver Island and stopped in a tack
store called Trading Post located by the
Nanaimo Airport looking for a product
that they did not have but the next
thing I know is that they had Cowboys
Choice tack store in Vernon on the
phone and I spoke with a real helpful
lady and she gave me a contact number
for their store as I felt bad calling
long distance on the trading post phone,
but as soon as I got home I called
Cowboys Choice store and placed my order
to a very nice lady and it took only 3
days to get my product to me and all
prices quoted were exact and the product
was well packaged and exactly what I
wanted. I think the lady I spoke with
was Barb Ferrier.
I did not
get the name of the two ladies at the
trading post but I appreciated their
great customer service by contacting
other suppliers of the product. I did
leave them a small donation towards a
coffee.and have purchased other items
from this store and have always received
the highest customer service.
A lot of big
name stores need what you have and I
hope you get the business you deserve
for providing good products at fair
prices with exceptional customer
service.

Hi Chris, Did you get your chaps
in time and did you like them?
Hey Meredith,
I was going to phone you today but ended up going riding all day. I love the chaps! They're the envy of the stable haha... thanks again for shipping them out so fast. They actually arrived on Sunday ,just in time for me to go riding - shipping with the buses is so fast. Took them out trail riding on Tuesday, and work in the arena calf roping ( calf dummies) today. They give me so much more grip in the saddle. I couldn't be happier with them.
Thanks again for all the help, and the kind note included in the package. I've told everyone I know to go to The Trading Post if they're ever in Nanaimo. I've never experienced such good customer service. Hope to see you all soon, sometime.
Take care!

If anyone is looking to get a new saddle at a decent price, don't miss out on the Trading Post. I have been looking for a saddle to fit our horse, Jackie for over a year now and Meredith at the Trading Post came up with several saddles for us to try, in different styles and widths. Spent loads of time with us watching my daughter ride and checking the fit. She's incredibly knowledgeable and has been continually asking questions from us by email. Highly recommend anyone who's looking to try there first! We ended up buying a Crates with FQHB, loads of room for a wide shouldered horse, with plenty of flare at the front.

Hi Meredith,
I just got in from working Eagle in the
new saddle, and it's great! Fits
him really nice. I didn't have to
cinch it up really tight to keep it on
him, and it flares out really nice over
his shoulders so he's not bumping into
it with every step.... plus, my leg is
right on him, not wrapped around a bunch
of rigging. Brian rode in it too
and really likes it. Eagle looked
happy. I haven't tried it on the
other horses yet but will tonight.
AND it's so pretty! The extra
money was worth it for the upgrades in
leather and workmanship without a doubt.
Thanks for all your efforts. It's
really paid off.
Sincerely, Anita Victoria, BC
